Los Angeles Unified School District Madison Middle School ADA Barrier Removal
Los Angeles Unified School District Madison Middle School ADA Barrier Removal
Valley Glen, California
The project consisted of extensive alterations to an existing 1,500-student middle school campus consisting of 22 buildings and associated sitework originally constructed in the 1950’s and 60’s. The alterations were designed to remove ADA access barriers and to provide full building and site accessibility throughout the campus.
The project was carefully phased to enable construction to proceed while school was in session. SLO and our team of highly qualified subconsultants worked very closely with the District to help insure that the phasing timelines were met and to help minimize disruption to the students and school staff .
