The design for the Rio Vista Water Treatment Plant Maintenance Facility Expansion includes the renovation of the existing maintenance facility as well as an expansion to accommodate for the operational and storage issues currently experienced by the Castaic Lake Water Agency. The expansion provides a centralized storage location with additional storage spaces, an equipment wash pad, offices, a training room and several other storage areas that allows the facility to increase productivity and decrease potential hazards and liabilities. The design for the expansion focused on maintaining the scale and material of the existing facility currently located on the site.
