Henry J. Mills Fluoride Tank Canopy

Located on the same site as the recently-built chlorine containment & handling facility (also designed by SLO), the canopy structure is designed to provide cover for workers performing maintenance on the fluoride tanks. Simple in its post & beam construction, the canopy gives necessary shade while remaining open to prevailing winds during the summer months. Standing seam metal roofing and a strip of horizontal metal siding along two of its four sides give the structure a refined quality.
