Los Angeles Unified School District Northridge Middle School ADA Barrier Removal
Los Angeles Unified School District Northridge Middle School ADA Barrier Removal
Los Angeles, California
The project consisted of extensive alterations to an existing 1,150-student middle school campus situated on 30 acres with 35 buildings originally constructed in the 1950’s and 60’s.
Three separate general contractors were involved on the project (concrete fl atwork, general building alterations, & modular ramps) which required careful coordination and management of separate RFI’s, submittals, and change orders.
Adding to the complexity of the project was the fact that it was constructed simultaneously with a campus-wide pavement and site utililty replacement project with a separate contractor and AE team.
